To: The Shareholders of Cargills Bank Limited (‘the Bank’)

This is to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Bank have decided to postpone the 9th Annual General Meeting of the Bank scheduled for Friday, 28th May 2021 at 10 a.m.

The decision to postpone the above meeting has been made in view of the guidelines issued by the public health authorities of the Government of Sri Lanka to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and to safeguard the health and well-being of the shareholders, proxy holders, advisers and employees of the Bank.

The meeting has been rescheduled for 28th June 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute No.100 Padanama Mawatha, Independence Square, Colombo 07. The business to be transacted at such meeting would be the same as that mentioned in the Notice of Meeting which has already been sent to you. In the event the applicability of the social distancing guidelines are extended further, the Bank would have a virtual (online via the internet) meeting at the same time and date, notice of which would be communicated to you in due course.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused in this regard.
