HNB-Singer partnership to offer exciting deals on John Deere tractors & Agri machinery

Sri Lanka’s leading private sector bank HNB PLC partnered with Singer, Sri Lanka’s premier consumer durable retailer and sole agents for John Deere in Sri Lanka, to offer customers convenient leasing solutions on tractors and agri-machinery.

The partnership was inked with a ceremony held at Singer Head Office in the presence of HNB Head of Personal Financial Services, Kanchana Karunagama and Singer Chief Executive Officer Mahesh Wijewardene.

“We’re aware of the difficulties many of our SME customers are facing due to the extremely challenging market conditions in the country. In order to better support their needs, we are delighted to partner with Singer to offer for valuable deals and discounts on its internationally renowned brand of John Deere tractors and agri machinery, which could help many SME customers enhance their productivity and get back on their feet,” HNB Head of Personal Financial Services, Kanchana Karunagama said.

HNB will offer customers an attractive leasing package inclusive of special low interest rates and a free credit card, with the bank waiving off the first year annual fee. The package is also anchored to attractive benefits from HNB General Insurance, including a free life insurance cover worth Rs. 4.5 Mn and discounted vehicle premiums for Singer customers.

With John Deere, we are able to provide globally recognized tractors and Agri machinery to our consumers across the country. This partnership with HNB PLC will no doubt help make these world class machinery more accessible,” Singer Chief Executive Officer, Mahesh Wijewardene said.

Customers availing themselves of the promotion will also be entitled to free warranties and insurance covers from Singer, as well as exciting discounts on JD spare parts for the duration of the partnership. Additionally, Singer will offer an extensive range of exclusive services completely free of charge, including 24/7 service support, vehicle registration, and vehicle transport to the customers’ doorstep.
