National Development Bank PLC (NDB Bank), Sri Lanka’s 4th largest listed bank was recently recognized as one of the 40 Best workplaces™ in Sri Lanka by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work® in Sri Lanka.

NDB Bank earned this credential based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in an anonymous survey and a culture audit conducted on HR practices which are matched against global qualification criteria required to be a Great Workplace. This recognition acknowledges the Bank’s efforts in creating an environment which fosters respect, trust and fairness.

During the survey conducted, NDB employees shared their views. “The culture makes it a unique place to work. Unlike other organizations, I feel this place has a lot of team playing and we have built up this uncommon way of doing things in order to grow (organizational wise and individual wise)”and “Respect for each other irrespective of age, race, ethnicity, religion or seniority”
