NDB was recently felicitated with five accolades by the Global Banking and Finance Magazine of UK 2022 for the Bank’s strength and stability shown in various categories including Empowering Women in Business, Digital Transformation and Leadership.
Accordingly, NDB was felicitated with awards for Best Bank for Digital Banking Services Sri Lanka 2022, Best Financial Institution for Empowering Women in Business Sri Lanka 2022, Best Renewable Energy Financing Sri Lanka 2022, Best SME Bank Sri Lanka 2022 and Best Supply Chain Finance Provider-Bank Sri Lanka 2022.

Winning the award for the Best Financial Institution for Empowering Women in Business Sri Lanka 2022 comes as no surprise especially since the bank has taken great strides to promote the women’s private sector labour force participation in Sri Lanka, which is a key national priority. These awards, come in the light of NDB being named the Sri Lanka’s Best Bank 2022 by the Global Finance Magazine of USA, for the second consecutive year and the fourth year overall. The Bank was also named the “Most Awarded Corporate 2021” as per LMD ranking. The Bank was also recently awarded two Gold awards for Financial Inclusivity and Best Common ATM Enabler of the Year and one Merit Award Excellence in Customer Convenience at the Lankapay Technnovation Awards 2022.
