At the press conference held on the 5th of June 2024, at Trinity College, NDB Bank underscored the importance of nurturing young athletes. Speaking at the event, NDB’s CEO, Kelum Edirisinghe, stated, "Our youth are the future of our nation. By supporting Trinity Rugby, we are investing in the development of young sportsmen who embody the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance."

The 2024 rugby season promises to be an exciting one, starting with Trinity’s first match against S. Thomas’ College on June 15 at Pallekele. The season will also feature the highly anticipated Bradby Shield Encounter, a symbol of tradition and rivalry in Sri Lankan school rugby.
