You should ideally;
- possess a degree in Accounting / Finance and or a full qualification of ICASL, CIMA, ACCA will be an added advantage
- have an excellent knowledge in taxation and accounting
- possess approx 6- 8 years of experience in the financial services sector at a supervisory level
- have a good knowledge of MS Excel/Word and application software packages
- have good communication skills
- be able to work with minimum supervision and guidance
- have the ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask
You will be responsible for,
- preparing all tax computations and tax returns of the Bank (Income Tax, Deferred Tax, VAT, VAT on FS, WHT, SSCL, Stamp Duty)
- compiling information to the Department of Inland Revenue
- conducting negotiations with the officials of the Department of Inland Revenue
- carrying-out standard reconciliations
