Use AnyBanQ.lk inside Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants

You can now connect AnyBanQ.lk to the AI assistant you already use. AnyBanQ runs a public MCP server at https://anybanq.lk/api/mcp, so Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants can look up the comparison data on this site and link you to the page each answer comes from.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant connect to outside tools and data, so it can look things up instead of answering from memory.
What you can ask
Once AnyBanQ is connected, ask in your own words about:
- Fixed deposit rates for tenures from one month to five years, with the interest you keep after the 10% AIT
- Personal, housing and vehicle loans, ranked by the indicative monthly instalment for your amount and tenure
- Credit and debit cards, with annual and joining fees
- Banks and finance companies, and branches and ATMs by town
- The Central Bank's daily indicative exchange rates
- Unit trusts from the wealth management companies licensed by the SEC Sri Lanka
For example: “What is the best 12-month fixed deposit rate for LKR 1 million?” or “Which personal loan has the lowest monthly instalment for LKR 2 million over five years?”
The 12 tools
Your assistant chooses from twelve tools. Each one only reads public data:
- Search products: loans, cards, fixed deposits and savings accounts, by type, bank or keyword.
- Product details: the rates, fees, features, eligibility rules and documents needed for one product.
- Compare products: two to five products side by side, with the monthly instalment for loans.
- Best fixed deposit rates: the highest rate at each bank and finance company for a tenure, with interest after tax and the maturity value.
- Cheapest loans: loans ranked by indicative monthly instalment for an amount and tenure.
- Credit and debit cards: lowest annual fee first, with joining fee, interest rate and features.
- Loan eligibility check: an indicative, rule-based check from your income and existing repayments. It is never an approval.
- Banks and finance companies: type, phone number, website and branch count.
- Branches and ATMs: by bank and town, with address, phone number and branch code.
- Exchange rates: the Central Bank's daily indicative rates, and conversions.
- Unit trusts: funds from the SEC-licensed wealth management companies, with fees and minimum investments.
- Start an application: a link to the anybanq.lk application form, prefilled with the product, amount and tenure. It submits nothing: you open the link, check the form, verify your identity and submit it yourself.
How to connect
Add the address https://anybanq.lk/api/mcp to your assistant. There is no account, sign-in or API key. Step-by-step instructions for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients are at anybanq.lk/mcp.
- Claude: Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, then paste the address.
- ChatGPT: turn on developer mode, then create an app with the address.
- Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http anybanq https://anybanq.lk/api/mcp
What data it uses
Only public comparison data: the same rates, fees and product details shown on anybanq.lk, each with the date AnyBanQ last verified it and a link to its page. It never asks for your name, NIC, phone number or account details, cannot see any bank account, and cannot move money or submit an application.
Figures are indicative. Rates change often, and the bank sets the final rate and terms, so confirm with the bank before you decide. AnyBanQ compares products; it does not lend or take deposits.
Prefer to chat on the site?
AnyBanQ Agent uses the same tools in a chat on anybanq.lk, in English, Sinhala or Tamil, with nothing to set up. It gives information, not financial advice.
