Union Bank Conducts Knowledge Sharing Workshop for the National Entrepreneurship Development Programme

As part of the third phase of the National Entrepreneurship Development Programme (NEDP), Union Bank recently conducted a workshop at its Head Office for participants of the programme.
The workshop was well attended by aspiring entrepreneurs from across the country, including from the North and East. The sessions were conducted by Union Bank team members and provided participants with valuable insights into industry practices and business processes, covering key areas essential for business growth and sustainability, including trade services, financing, and legal aspects of business start-ups and operations.
The NEDP is a key initiative of the Union Bank School of Social Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the University of Moratuwa and the National Innovation Agency. The programme is designed to empower entrepreneurs and business owners with the knowledge, innovation, technical expertise, and financial support required to transform viable business ideas.
