• Capital grace period will be given during the study period (Grace period= study period + 6 months).
• Longer repayment period.
• Standard documentation.
• Competitive interest rates (Availability of fixed and floating interest rates).

• If a student is not employed or lacks sufficient repayment capacity, they can obtain a loan jointly with a parent or guardian. Anyhow, the student should always be the primary borrower.
• Age: 18 - 65 years.
• Borrower/s has to be a Sri Lankan Citizen.
• Minimum income should be LKR 100,000 (Considered only in Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR)).

• Offer Letter from the university.
• Proof of equity contribution (such as proof of admission/ semester payment).
• Duly completed application form.
• Certified copy of NIC or Driving License.
• Utility Bill (if address differs from NIC).
• Employment confirmation letter (addressed to HNB).
• Latest 3 salary slips.
• Standing Order instruction OR Salary undertaking letter to remit salary to HNB.
• Bank statements for last 6 months (is salary has not been routed to HNB).
• Asset Declaration (in some instances).
